We are a small family of 4 that love animals. We have always had pets, even as children. We have also had some allergy problems but just ignored them. In 2010 I heard about these hypo-allergenic cats and after much study I opened the cattery in 2012 with three imports, Baz, Ellie and Foxy. They were all colorpoints and my sons named our cattery Nevaland Siberians. They are now retired and we have added tabbies to our cattery. Therefore in 2018 we chose a new name, Charis Siberians. Charis is a Greek word that means grace, kindness and life. We thought this was a good reflection of how we feel about breeding and our cats. We are so thankful and blessed to have these wonderful pets. They live in our home freely and we do not house them in cages.
On a more personal note, we are thankful to our Lord, Jesus Christ. Many years ago while I was in college, I was seeking for truth. I studied Buddhism and practiced Transcendental Meditation for a year. In desperation I finally cried out to God, whoever He was, and the next day one of my sisters was telling me about another sister getting "saved". Immediately the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart and said, "Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life." I knew I had found the truth. I contacted my sister and we went to church. I learned that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead so that I could have everlasting life. I accepted Him as my Lord and Savior and I was transformed! I received so much joy that I could barely sleep that night. That was many years ago and I am still very much in love with Him. It's not a religion; it's a personal relationship. I have gained a Friend who cares about me and is always with me!
If you do not know the Truth, ask God to show you. He cares about you too!
